How to Use Minn Kota Trolling Motor to Anchor over Wrecks, April Tog Fishing

Описание к видео How to Use Minn Kota Trolling Motor to Anchor over Wrecks, April Tog Fishing

In this video I use my new Minn Kota Riptide Ulterra to keep myself stationary over shipwrecks in 55-90 feet of water. Our target is tog, aka Tautog/Blackfish.

With the trolling motor I am able to save TONS of time not having to deploy and retrieve up to 200 feet of anchor line......allowing me to spend more time fishing and less time setting up on the wreck.

Rod: Custom JPR (Honey Lami Blank), jprrods.com
Reel: Avet SJX 5.3
Line: 60 pound Daiwa J Braid
Leader: 40 pound Ande Mono
Hook: 4/0 Gamakatsu Octopus Hook

Trolling Motor: Minn Kota Riptide Ulterra 24V, 80 lb Thrust, 60" Shaft with iPilot Link

Fishfinder/GPS/Plotter: Humminbird Helix 7 Chirp Mega SI DI G3N
