In this video, I will demo and test Too Faced Better than Sex Waterproof Mascara and Too Faced Melt Off Cleansing Oil Waterproof Mascara Dissolver. Better than Sex Waterproof Mascara is a spin off the original formula. In addition to being waterproof, the new formula claims to be moisturizing from the original version by removing the acacia senegal tree extract in the original formula and replacing it with porcelain flower, which is a conditioning ingredient. I swim, especially under the water and wanted to see if I would emerge from the water with black streaks. As you can see in the demo that did not happen when I dunked my face in a bowl. I will continue to use this product for swimming, working out, and on my brides when lots of crying is front and center.

The Melt off Cleansing Oil dissolver is also in a mascara wand design. It is designed to be applied to the lashes as if it was mascara and then remove with regular water. It removes the Better than Sex Waterproof Mascara after the second water application. I do not like the mascara wand applicator because it allows for regular mascara to be added back into the container. I would have liked to have seen the applicator in a squeeze container and then I can just apply the oil to my lashes.

I attended an Ipsy / Too Faced Workout Wednesday event to try out the new Better than Sex Waterproof Mascara and Melt off during a spinning class. I was not able to stay for the spin class but wanted to test the claims myself in the method that I would most use the product and that would be swimming. Both items were complimentary by attending the event. Both products launched March 17, 2016 on the Too Faced website.
