So the first thing that I did was I took old plastic pots and I put them inside the coffee burlap bag. I folded the coffee bag in and then I turned the pot upside down so that I could neatly fold the bottom in. I screwed it in with a wood screw very lightly since it is made of plastic. And then I filled it with soil until about 8 inches to the top of the pot. I planted my red tulips. I spaced them out about 4 inches apart and then I will go ahead and cover them up with 4 inches of dirt as well. I tried to space them out as best as I could while maximizing tulips in one planter. Still, I ended up with quite a bit of extra red tulips. Then just covered it with 4 inches of soil and also a layer of leaves. This keeps them nice and cozy for the winter. It also adds a bonus because your planter ends up looking like a nice bag of leaves. It will turn out different in the spring though. Thanks for watching!
