CAERNARFON TO DINAS DINLLE - WALKING THE WALES COAST PATH

Hello and welcoe to this video of the walk from Caernarfon to Dinas Dinlle on the Wales Coast Path which I filmed in July 2024!

From the very first moment of the walk the Swing Bridge in Caernarfon was shut due to maintenance work I had to divert down and then around onto Coed Helen Lane just to get back to where the Swing Bridge was this put 45 minutes onto the walk, makes it more of an adventure in my eyes! But it give a fine photo of Caernarfon Castle!

From then on it was past the Caernarfon Golf Club and a few looking across over to Anglesey on the Menai Strait!

Carrying on towards Dinas Dinlle and first I reach Afon Gwyrfai then a few miles later on the walk Afon Carrag you can see this river for miles a bit like the River Dee from Chester at the start of the Wales Coast Path!

Getting closer to Dinas Dinlle I reach Caernarfon Airport this use to be called RAF Llandwrog in use during the 2nd World War between 1941 & 1946!

After nearly 4 hours of walking we reach Dinas Dinlle with the Iron Age hillfort overlooking the beach it was so nice being on the sea front after an exhausting walk!
