Let's do a walk in Sheepshead Bay. We have not been down here in awhile, and today is a great day to walk around the marina. On October 20th, it is 75 degrees - much warmer than normal. We will take advantage of it and walk around for awhile. We will start the walk along Neptune Avenue in the Brighton Beach section. This avenue will turn into Emmons Avenue once we cross into the Sheepshead Bay section of Brooklyn. We will walk the strip of restaurants across from the marina while many are out eating, or just enjoying the late summer type weather. We will cross over to the marina side and walk along the bay, and then cross over the old and rickety Ocean Avenue Bridge. We will end the walk on the other side of the marina while people enjoy the outdoors with their family, and while some others get some quiet time on a bench under the trees on a beautiful Sunday.
