Spiro and his wife Ava, from Oakland, California competed at the Greek Orthodox Folk Dance Festival (FDF) from an early age. Both of their mothers were deeply involved in costuming for FDF, an Spiro and Ava are also actively involved. Spiro has been a director, and Ava is a costume judge. They talk about friendships made and share some great stories about FDF.
