Welcome to "RICKY REACH".

It was supposed to be a scenic ride through the Mae Hong Son Loop—lush mountains, winding roads, and peaceful Thai villages. But within a few hours, everything went terribly wrong.

🛑⚠️🛑MUST READ BEFORE PLANNING A TRIP TO "MAE HONG SON":-
We left Chiang Mai early in the morning, excited to complete one of Thailand’s most iconic motorbike loops. The sky was slightly overcast, but we had ridden through mist before—nothing new.

Around 7:00 p.m., as we approached a steep section, the wind began howling. Trees started bending violently. Rain slammed down like buckets being dumped from the sky. Our visibility dropped to just a few meters. It felt like someone had flipped a switch—from paradise to panic.

Suddenly there was a landslide from the hill. A huge Rock fell on the road. We stopped just in time—if we had moved faster, we would have been crushed under it.

I kept riding because I had no choice but to keep riding until we found some shelter. But when we turned, we saw that the road behind us was also flooded. One wrong move on the slippery turn, and we could slide into the forest. And while I was taking a sharp turn, suddenly the motorcycle slipped and we started falling down and we somehow managed to save ourselves as well as our motorcycle from falling into the forest.

But in order to prevent the bike from falling, our bags, water bottles and other stuff fell down, and even my GoPro clip came off and fell somewhere, which I was able to find immediately. And we just picked up all our fallen stuff and put it in the bike and moved on immediately.

Our hands were also shaking—not only from the cold, but also from fear.

With no signal and no one in sight, we slowly pushed forward. Our tires sank in mud. Water reached our ankles.

I rode my motorbike through the storm for the next 4 hours until we reached Mae Hong Son—shaken, but alive.

That day taught us more than any travel guide ever could: when nature speaks, you listen. Mae Hong Son isn’t just a loop—it’s a test of your respect for the wild.

🔴 NOTE:- If you’re planning to ride the Mae Hong Son Loop, especially during the rainy season—don’t take it lightly. Check the forecast. Talk to locals. Be prepared to turn back. No view is worth your life.
