The lens is then finely milled to achieve its outer shape and dimensions, ensuring high accuracy.

◾ De-Waxing
The semi-formed lenses are washed and cleaned using special chemicals to remove any residues.

◾ Tumbling / Polishing
The lenses are placed into bottles with special beads and rotated for about 16 hours. This process removes surface irregularities, giving the lens a flawless finish.

◾ Hydration (Saturation)
The lenses are soaked in a proprietary fluid for around 200 hours to make them soft and flexible, a crucial property for safe implantation.

◾ Inspection & Power Verification
Each lens undergoes a rigorous inspection to ensure it meets the exact power and quality specifications. Any imperfection leads to the lens being discarded or refined.

◾ Sterilization
The final lens is sterilized to eliminate all microbial contaminants, making it safe for implantation.

◾ Packaging and Dispatch
