Tripwire Funnel

This is not ideal for beginners.

Note: You'll try this when you have tried out some other funnels and generated at least some profit out of it.

The reason being when you've generated some profits, it means people have started knowing you and it will be easy for you to sell your Tripwire.

A Tripwire is used to start the buying association with your audience.

There is a lot of audiences who are mere freebie seekers, this funnel helps you filter out that audience.

Here you'll be launching a product or service of a lesser price point that you'll be giving to people.

However, you'll not give it free of cost.

The benefits of this funnel are as follows:

1.) You get an audience base who is willing to invest upon themselves.

2.) You can start the buying association.

3.) You'll filter out the audience who will never be ready to invest upon themselves.

4.) The probability of them buying your second level product increases.

Step 1: Your Tripwire can be a set of E-books, a combination of E-books and videos, a video series or a PDF checklist.

Step 2: Let's assume the price point of your Tripwire to be Rs. 250

Step 3: Now you'll start running Ads

Step 4: Supposedly you give yourself a target of generating 3000 leads.

Step 5: Gradually you start optimising your Ads.

There is a high probability for the lead cost to be Rs. 200

That means you get a profit of Rs. 50 on each sale.

(Selling price Rs. 250 - Cost per lead Rs. 200 = Rs. 50)

Your target is to generate 3000 leads

Thus Customer acquisition cost = 3000 leads * Rs. 200 = Rs. 6,00,000.

Thus you'll implement this funnel once you have used some other funnel and generated some profits.

But there's an amazing catch here

Step 6: Your investment - Rs. 6 Lakhs

Product price - Rs. 250

Leads generated - 3000

Revenue generated - 300 * Rs. 250 = Rs. 7,50,000

That means even before offering the main product you've made a profit of Rs. 1.5 Lakhs.

This is just incredible because you get an audience who is interested and have the spending power.

Step 7: Here the conversion ratio can go up to 10% as well since this is a paid audience.

This means if you have 3000 buyers who got your Tripwire

10% of 3000 = 300 people will buy your next paid opportunity.

Let's suppose the pricing of the product is Rs. 10,000

Which means Rs. 10,000 * 300 buyers = Rs. 30,00,000

Thus the overall income is Rs. 7,50,000 + Rs. 30,00,000 = Rs. 37,50,000

Profit = Rs. 37,50,000 - Rs 6,00,000 = Rs. 31.5 Lakhs

This can actually happen

It has happened to a lot of our mentees.

This will happen to you as well once you implement and be consistent with it.

Ensure to reinvest regularly in your business to scale it further.
