Vintage lenses on medium format mirrorless cameras, Nikon 85mm f1.4D on Hasselblad X2D

Reviewing a lens that I now own for the second time. I have used it some years ago on Nikon DSLR cameras with nice results, but shooting with it on my Hasselblad X1D mark ii three to four years ago, I was disappointed with it. I think it came down to my style of shooting at the time. I wanted the whole frame to be pin sharp at all apertures, and this lens doesn’t give that. On the other hand, it can render some very pretty unsharp backgrounds, and if you stop it down a little the whole frame is pretty sharp, though the sharpness doesn’t reach the extreme corners on the large medium format sensors.
