On the October 19th, 2021. The stable version of Android 12 was released, alongside with the announcement of the next Pixel phone series, the Pixel 6 was also introduced. The complete list of confirmed features may be found below.
After nearly eight months of developer previews and betas, Android 12 is finally a completely finished OS. The new operating system is one of Google's most significant endeavors in years, with a slew of new capabilities and a major design overhaul. If you have a compatible phone, you should be able to install the update. You shouldn't have any big bugs or issues because it's a full release.

scrolling screenshots
On Android, scrolling screenshots have finally come. These screenshots record not only what's visible on the screen at the time, but also what's beneath it, such as the rest of a lengthy webpage or document. You'll find that they're beneficial in a wide range of scenarios.
The screenshot shortcut is the same as before: hold down the Power and Volume down buttons to grab whatever is on the screen. After you've taken a screenshot, you'll see a Capture more button next to the thumbnail, which you may tap to extend the screenshot.
Although scrolling screenshots have been around for a long time, their inclusion in Android 12 is a great addition. This feature was included in the third beta build and has remained ever since. dedicated gaming mode

Indicators for camera and microphone use are also included in Android 12. When an app access one of those features, a small microphone or camera indicator displays in the upper right corner of your phone screen. After the initial indicator disappears, a green dot remains to indicate that an app is still using it. It's a simple and quick approach to let the user know when the microphone or camera is turned on.
You can turn on or off both the camera and microphone permissions for added security. Google specifically introduced new toggles to the Quick Settings for this purpose. To entirely disable the camera or microphone, simply turn one of them off.

One-handed mode
One-handed mode is implemented into Android 12. It can be found by heading to System and then Gestures in the Settings menu. Everything is reduced in size in this setting. It resembles multi-window mode, with the exception that the top half of the screen is blank. On taller phones, the one-handed mode makes it easier to access almost anything with one hand.
Regardless of how lengthy the wait is, it'll be good to be able to use larger devices without requiring hand gymnastics or having large hands.

Approximate and precise location
Google added the approximate location permission to Android 12. Apps with the approximate location permission can get a general estimate of where you are, but not an exact location. It protects the user's precise location from apps that don't require it. In any application that asks for your location, you should be allowed to choose which permissions you want.
A weather app is an example of where this is useful. To display you the weather in your area, weather apps need not require your actual street location. The weather forecast is the same whether you're at home or at the neighborhood grocery shop. There are plenty such examples, but the approximate location will significantly limit the number of apps that know your location.
