Here's the volumetric* recipe for "Hot Green"
2 parts freeze dried chives
2 parts freeze dried shallots
2 parts whole green peppercorns
1 part dried minced garlic
1 part green chile flake
1 part kosher salt **
Grind all ingredients together. You may wish to crush the peppercorns and garlic first, since those are much harder than the other items, which crumble to dust easily.

Why volumetric?
The freeze-dried ingredients are so unbelievable light weight that volumetric is just plain easier. Using a scale might be more precise, but only if you have a really sensitive scale!

** Why salt?
It's definitely optional, but using just 1 part is usually a good idea to prevent clumping and "stretch" the mix a little bit. Salt is much cheaper than spices, and this small amount isn't enough to treat the resulting mix as a one-step seasoning
