Altogether, 3 pilots of All In The Family were made. The first 2 were for ABC, but they eventually passed on the show. A third and final pilot was made for CBS and it sold. Each time, the actors that played Gloria and Mike were re-cast. Other tweaks were made in each pilot, such as the show's title and the family's surname.

This was the 2nd unsold pilot for ABC.
