I recently watched an amazing Netflix show called 'The Queen's Gambit'. I adore everything about it, from storyline to cinematography to soundtrack.

Anya Taylor-Joy plays Beth Harmon, the show's protagonist, a troubled but gifted chess player.
As a result of her previous traumas, Beth struggles with loneliness and finds it difficult to build relationships, both platonic and sexual.

Beth to Play - is a short score I composed and recorded that I believe reflects the string of emotions felt by the character when she is faced with the prospect of entering a relationship. This piece can also be interpreted as one documenting the chain of events that ensue from Beth's decision to make the first move within the context of a relationship.

Beth to Play - is a live performance and the latest addition to my 'Seeds' series.
I focus on exploring and further personalising my sound while acquiring new technical skills in this series.
