Augsburg is one of the oldest cities in Germany, located in Bavaria. The city hall with the Golden Hall is the main example of Renaissance architecture in the city. The Fuggerei quarter in the 16th century consisted of social housing and belonged to the famous dynasty of bankers - this is where our walk will begin.
