Trout TV and I hooked up for a float down the North Fork of the Coeur d'Alene River on my day off from the Silver Bow Fly Shop. The North Fork Coeur d'Alene is located in the Idaho Panhandle, just a short drive from Spokane, WA and Coeur d'Alene, ID. The river is home to native Westslope Cutthroat trout and has good wade access and float access.

In this episode Hilary and I take turns fishing and rowing down this beautiful mountain stream fishing dry flies and streamers for cutthroat in mid-June. Hatches that time of the year can vary from pmd's, golden stones, yellow sallies, to green and gray drakes so be prepared! Mid June the river is just coming out of runoff so we focused most of our attention along the banks.
