พอลล่าร่วมการแข่งขันกีฬาสำหรับเด็กพิการทางสติปัญญา

พอลล่า เทย์เลอร์ ในนาม Friend of UNICEF ร่วมการแข่งขันกีฬาสเปเชียลโอลิมปิคที่จัดขึ้นสำหรับเด็กและเยาวชนผู้พิการทางสติปัญญาของภาคเหนือ ที่จัดขึ้นที่โรงเรียนกาวิละอนุกูล จ.เชียงใหม่ เมื่อวันืั้ 26 กันยายน 2556 โดยยูนิเซฟให้การสนับสนุนสเปเชียลโอลิมปิคในการจัดการแข่งขันและฝึกทักษะกลไกระดับภูมิภาค เพื่อส่งเสริมให้เด็กและเยาวชนผู้พิการทางสติปัญญาได้มีโอกาสในการพัฒนาผ่านการเล่นกีฬา และส่งเสริมการมีส่วนร่วมในสังคมของเด็กกลุ่มนี้

Paula Taylor, Friend of UNICEF, joined the motor-skill activity training programme and aerobic dancing organised for children with intellectual disabilities in the Northern Region. The event was held at Kawila Anukul school in Chiang Mai on 26 September 2013. Almost 400 children with intellectual disabilities from 14 schools in the region participated in this event.
UNICEF has provided support to Special Olympics Thailand for promoting social inclusion and development for these disabled athletes through participation in sports for years. This year, UNICEF is sponsoring the regional games and motor-skills training for these children.
