You may use different dates for the Tax Invoice and the Eway Bill. Even though Tax Invoices can be issued before the start of the movement of goods, e way bills must only be currently dated. But they are not required to be generated at the start of the movement. It was first implemented on April 1, 2018, and it has been a huge success. The indirect taxation structure is required for interstate goods movement. Before moving items worth more than Rs. 50,000, a taxpayer must generate an e-way bill.
