New Bill aims to strengthen enforcement and mediation in community disputes

The Community Disputes Resolution (Amendment) Bill, which tackles disputes between neighbours and aims to strengthen mediation as well as dialogue between neighbours, was passed in Parliament on Nov 12.

Minister for Culture, Community and Youth Edwin Tong and Senior Minister of State for National Development Sim Ann emphasised how this new framework can help strengthen community mediation and harmonious living.
