I recently went to race the Modern Hemi Shootout at Orlando Speedworld where it was nearly impossible to get any traction due to a lack of prep. After talking with several Demon 170 owners, I found that some were having significantly more luck getting down the track than others due to having their car tuned to leave softer and in second gear, which you cannot do in a 170 unless its tuned. The issue is that tuning your car then voids your warranty and replacing your Demon 170's engine can cost as much as $50k. Do you think it's worth tuning an expensive car like a Demon 170 so that it's a little quicker and more consistent?
