Day 41 to day 50
Everyday has been a constant battle against the infected and raiders.
While we thought everything was fine, one of the citizens suddenly changed and attacked his neighbor. There are signs of infection from the attacker. This means that we may not be immune, or the virus has mutated. For the safety of our people, we decided to let everyone know even if we risk panic within the community.
Days later, one of the squads found a survivor's hideout and discovered some data on a vaccine or cure. They also found coordinates of some lab locations. Squads are dispatched to find these labs, maybe we can find a cure in one of them.
In one of the locations, we found recordings of evacuation of the facility taken during the pandemic. It did not reveal where the scientists were evacuated to, so the squad will continue their search.
While the search continues, some of citizens who were supposed to be immune got sick.
Then, the squad found the location of the facility the scientists were moved to. A team was immediately sent.
The team arrived to find an entrance to an underground base. There, we made contact with Doctor Miller of the science division. After some convincing, Doctor Miller wants us to recover a biohazard case at another research facility that has gone dark. The case contains data and sample that can help with their research.
