Plot Summary:
Set in the aftermath of the American Civil War, Wild Wild West follows two government agents—James West (Will Smith), a fearless gunslinger, and Artemus Gordon (Kevin Kline), a brilliant inventor and master of disguise. The unlikely duo is assigned by President Ulysses S. Grant to stop a diabolical and eccentric genius, Dr. Arliss Loveless (Kenneth Branagh), who plans to assassinate the president and take over the United States using his deadly mechanical inventions—most notably, a gigantic steam-powered spider of destruction.

Together, West and Gordon must combine brains, brawn, and plenty of steampunk gadgetry to stop Loveless before he rewrites history.
