Wizards & Beasts: Harry Potter Convention 2023, Burg Reichenstein, Germany

Mit Wizards & Beasts hat Proud Nerd Convention die erste Harry Potter-Convention nach Deutschland gebracht! Genauer gesagt auf die wunderschöne Burg Reichenstein in Rheinland-Pfalz.
Fantastische Stargäste haben sich die Klinke in die Hand gegeben. Dabei waren:

Warwick Davis
Nick Moran
Joshua Shea
Louis Cordice
Maja Bloom

sowie die deutschen Synchronsprecher

Gabrielle Pietermann
Max Felder

und natürlich – als Special Appearance – die Maulende Myrte aus den Tiefen des Abwassersystems der Burg.

Natürlich gab es Butterbier-Shake zur Stärkung, Durchgänge zum Gleis 9 3/4, Händler aus der Winkelgasse und Eulen des Postdienstes. Und natürlich Schüler, Professoren und sonstige Charaktere aus Harry Potter und Fantastic Beasts!

Es war eine wunderbare Convention und ich hoffe, dass es sie ab jetzt jedes Jahr geben wird!

ENGLISH VERSION:

With "Wizards and Beasts", Proud Nerd Conventions brought the first Harry Potter convention to Germany! Specifically, it took place at the magnificent Reichenstein Castle in Rhineland-Palatinate. There was an incredible lineup of guest stars, including:

Warwick Davis
Nick Moran
Joshua Shea
Louis Cordice
Maja Bloom

Additionally in attendance were the talented German voice actors:

Gabrielle Pietermann
Max Felder

And, of course, making a special appearance, there was Moaning Myrtle from the depths of the castle's sewer system.

To enhance the experience, attendees were treated to refreshing Butterbeer shakes, provided with entrances to Platform 9 3/4, and delighted by featured merchants from Diagon Alley. Additionally, real-life owls from the Hogwarts Postal Service added an extra touch of authenticity. And, of course, there were students, professors, and other beloved characters from Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts!

It was an absolutely wonderful convention, and I hope that it becomes an annual event from now on!
