Our project is a mobile application which aims to provide safe environment for instant mobile payments among its users. The application makes shared payments easier and safer than ever. Built on blockchain, our project is absolutely safe from frauds and theft of users' money. To use the application, one needs to link their bank account to their ebucks account. Next step is to buy from us ebucks dirhams (ED) which have fixed interest rate of 1 ED = 1 AED. A user can transfer the crypto currency to other users instantly with no fee and be sure that their money is safe in blockchain. When a user wants to receive their money back on their bank account, we buy their ED and transfer the money implementing a very small fee. Automated clearing house of the bank we use will facilitate fast transactions. According to the survey we conducted at NYU Abu Dhabi, UAE locals and residents are willing to use such an application in their every day life. Prospectively, we are planning to work with uae.souq.com and other online and offline shops to bring to reality safe and convenient payments in the UAE.
