This is an interesting spot because there is a large clear-cut bordering a swamp for a long ways. But it opens up to where where there is some separation between the clear-cut and the swamp where there are just hardwoods. So there are three different habitat types all meeting and converging. There is also a trail along the edge of that clear-cut and a scrape at the intersection location. So this is definitely a place to keep tabs on. It's going to be a good place to get photos. It's also a good setup spot, especially when bucks start traveling some of these areas and scent checking for doe bedding within the areas like the clear cut where there are likely to be does.
