Mae Among the Stars is an amazing story about Mae who dreamt of being an astronaut and becoming one! Dr. Mae Jemison is the first African American woman to fly into outer space!
Mae Among the Stars which was wonderfully written by Roda Ahmed and beautifully illustrated by Stasia Burrington is about young Mae following her dreams of being an astronaut. Mae is a role model, she had a dream and didn’t let anyone or anything stop her!
