Irish Moss

Irish sea moss also called sea moss is scientifically know as Chrondus Crispus and is actually a red algae despite being called a moss.  It grows on the rocky coasts of the Atlantic of Europe and North America and also the North Pacific.

In it’s fresh state it is a reddish purplish color, when dried it becomes a golden color or sometimes white. It is also commonly used industrially as a thickener. This substance is extracted from Irish moss and used to thicken products like milk, yogurt, baby formula, salad dressing, condensed milk, coconut milk, soy milk (and other vegan milks), toothpaste and shampoo.

Black seed oil

Black Cumin Seed Oil (also often called Black Coriander Oil or simply Black Oil) comes from the Nigella Sativa plant that is native to Asia. Recent studies on this incredibly powerful seed oil show it may be helpful in combating super bugs like MRSA and in cancer patients.

The plant is part of the buttercup family and has small, black, crescent shaped seeds. Historical accounts of Black Seed use date back as far as the times of King Tut in Ancient Egypt.
