Pleural Fluid Analysis

Normally there is a small amount of pleural fluid in the pleural cavity that 10 to 20 mL. Pleural fluid is present between the two layers of the pleura. The pleura made up of two layers of membrane that cover the lungs and line up the chest cavity.
