PowerPro vs Spiderwire: Which Casts Farther? (Long-Term Test Results)

For the past ten years or so, I've been using PowerPro braided line.

But after many people asked about my opinion on Spiderwire's Invisi-Braid, I decided to do a series of tests, including:

casting distance
knot strength
abrasion resistance

That was about a year and a half ago, and they performed very similarly.

But after continuing to test the two over the past year and a half, one of the brands has vastly outperformed the other one.

In fact, I don't even like using it now!
