“A neglected eyesore, a dangerous nuisance… and one of the biggest sources of pollution in the state of israel.” These are just some of the charming adjectives used to describe the central bus station in south Tel Aviv, which is the second largest bus station in the world. And it’s been this way, practically since its opening, nearly thirty years ago. But finally, residents in the station’s periphery won’t have to suffer much longer – as the government has finally announced plans to shut it down.
