1 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup milk
2 eggs (large or extra-large)

Grease your popover pan and place in oven while oven is pre-heating. Pre heat oven to 450 F. You want your pan to be hot when you add batter.

Mix flour and salt. Mix eggs and milk. Combine the flour/salt with the eggs/milk. Do not overmix small lumps of flour is okay.

Bake at 450 F for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 375 F and bake another 15-20 minutes until done. Remove from pan and serve immediately. Add butter and jelly or use to sop up the gravy from your plate.
