Last day before the lathe gets to sleep in the warm

This is a refined version of the yesterdays upload... I completely forgot i had that version, as i had a short vacation the morning after finishing working on it, so i mistakenly uploaded the file that was identical in every aspect other than the length of the video...

This is the last cleaning up of the Habegger lathe before she`s allowed to get in the shop and sleep in the warm and dry... She didnt deserve sitting on the outside for this long, but she was quite disgusting upon arrival, so it took a while to dress her up whilst contending with other machinery in the shop and the rest of nonsense that came my way while i was at it...

The next video is going to be the switcheroo of the machines in the shop that are in the way of her coming in... I think it will be a decent vid in regards to demonstrating that a single person can relatively easily manhandle machinery without organic help... A pallet jack and some attention and care is all that is needed, along some proper leverage in some situations...

My camera is developing an unhealthy habit of losing footage and/or dying at the worst time, so i lost a whole segment on dismantling the other automatic lathe and attempting to take some parts off before the store bought winch went awry and shot a bolt head into my wrist and dropping the lathe bed... I took every precaution possible, so no damage other than to my hand was done, so its a bit of a loss since that video would also have been a very good demonstration of good habits and practices to ensure that shifting of large mass does not result in damage to either the operator or the machines... Oh well, spilled milk i guess...

Other than that, i will likely be posting a fabrication video, as i really need a welding table... I have had it with tig welding on the floor and cobbled up stands and props... I had little need of it by now, as i was welding up other tables and such stuff, which very quickly resulted in a welding surface that i could use to make other stuff, but as the tables were made for specific purposes, they just as quickly stopped being available as a welding table when they were fully finished...
