Today we take a ride on one of Redditch's Signature branded hybrids on the 55 along the Plymouth Road and up the steep hill at the other end from the train station. At 2:10, it starts its uphill struggle. Diamond's Hybrid Signature Versas are returning off lease, and need to be repainted. They should have been withdrawn in February/early March, but multiple examples still get out in service. They are horrible examples, and Optare even offered to refit the engines a few years ago. Other examples of hybrid Versas are with Johnson's Coaches, whose are in better condition and work on the Stratford Park & Ride.
