On March 14th & 15th of 1998 I visited the BNSF Chillicothe Subdivision in Illinois. Stops were made at Ransom, Kernan, Streator, Toluca Ancona, Chillicothe, Houlihan's Curve, & Edelstein. BNSF power was becoming more common but Santa Fe power was still prevalent along the former AT&SF Transcon. Power on other trains included Burlington Northern, Conrail, Montana Rail Link (MRL), Electro Motive Leasing (EMDX) & CORP.
