The lyrics was written by Mrs. Jharna Roy as a poem, to express her love for her spouse. Later Vaskar Roy made a tune for it in 2004 and Mrs. Jharna Roy's daughter Lumbini Roy gave the voice. Tuned by Vaskar Roy the song was composed by Soumit Chakma and was produced by Manoj Dewan Production.

"Fulsumori gaach: a type of tall tree
Thagur Fek: Yellow bird.
There used to be a Fulsumori tree beside my mom and dad’s room, where occasionally a yellow bird would come. She was inspired and used that in her poem."
