Last month we reported that our colleagues at FLS Projects Indonesia had arranged vessel chartering and loading supervision of heavy machinery for the journey from Jakarta, Indonesia to Jebel Ali, UAE.

We have just completed a short video of the loading process from vessel arrival to vessel departure that we would like to show you.

FLS’ scope was not just the loading but also included dismantling buckets, arms, and counterweights before loading the machinery onto the vessel.

Our experienced Project Manager guided the stevedores for the handling of the heavy-lift operations whilst precisely following the stowage plan.

A major element to ensure a timely and smooth operation at the port was the proactive communication and close coordination with Agent, Port Captain, and the Master, as well as the port authorities and standby mechanics.
