Is Cafe Orleans worth the hype? Can you still get the Pommes Frites? Let's find out!

We visited Cafe Orleans in New Orleans Square at Disneyland for Amy's birthday in January 2023. We've been before, but we'd heard they'd changed their policy and recipe for their signature Pommes Frites and we were nervous about how it worked.

Amy ordered the Roasted Chicken and I got the Red Wine-braised Short Ribs. They no longer sell Pommes Frites a la carte, but you can order it with most entrees. We'd heard it only came with the Monte Cristo, but that's not true. The only entree you can't get them with is the Shrimp Pasta.

Cafe Orleans is one of our favorite table service restaurants and Disneyland and is well worth your consideration. A reservation is required, so I'd recommend making plans in advance. They do have a walk-up list, but seating is not guaranteed.
