Cascading 3 CD4017 IC for Up To Drive 25 LEDs Part B: Final Section

This videop is about cascading of 3 CD4017 counter ICs to drive up to 25 in an elaborate LED chaser circuit. We recommend watching part A from the previous video to better understand how this highly versatile IC works. Link in the description.

We will use 555 timer IC as the clock generator to allow all the 3 CD4017 ICs to loop over their outputs. Watch our previous video to learn how to create this clock signal using the 555 timer IC. Additionally, we will require two AND gates with two inputs each.
