Randy Smith - Shape Of My Heart - (Sting - Bass Cover)

“Shape Of My Heart” is a track off of Sting’s 1993 release titled “Ten Summoner’s Tales”. It’s the 4th solo album of the former frontman for The Police. It may be my favorite of Sting’s solo recordings. In my opinion, it’s an absolute masterpiece in every way from songs to playing and production. Sting plays upright on this track so I chose my Kala U-Bass(a Christmas gift from my daughter & son-in-law a few years back😊) for this video. In addition, I used my Moises app to remove the original bass track so what you hear is me. The U-Bass has a wonderful sub tone that mimics the upright beautifully. I tried to stay true to the original with a few of my own things thrown in here & there. I hope you enjoy my take on this.
