It begs the question: why are these internal complaint committees (ICCs) supposed to be our safety nets, sometimes turning into traps? When someone finally gathers the courage to file a complaint with the Internal Committee, what do they face? Threats, negative repercussions, career roadblocks, judgmental stares. It's enough to make anyone second guess speaking up.
