Furious Diesel Action on the Mysore Mainline

19 June 2016, Kengeri - Bidadi Section, Bengaluru, KA.

A selection of fast and furious trains on the Bangalore - Mysore mainline, comprising of everything from Passengers to the Shatabdi to a freight train. This section has a maximum permissible speed of around 90-100kph, and trains bound to Mysore make the most of the gentle down-gradients, reaching speeds of over 100kph at some spots, even on sharp curves.

A word of caution: If you plan to go trainspotting near a station, make it a point to inform the station master of your presence in that section.
