A ARRESTING ITS THREE MEMBERS, WITH THE RECOVERY OF THREE STOLEN CARS, BY THE TEAM OF PS WAZIRABAD, NORTH DISTRICT, DELHI

• 03 AUTO-LIFTERS, INVOLVED IN STEALING THE CARS DURING MIDNIGHT HOURS, ARRESTED WITH THE HELP OF TECHNICAL INVESTIGATION AND GROUND LEVEL INPUTS, BY THE TEAM OF PS WAZIRABAD, DELHI.

• TWO STOLEN CARS WITH FAKE NUMBER PLATES (I.E. HYUNDAI CRETA AND MARUTI SUZUKI BREZZA) STOLEN FROM THE AREAS OF POLICE STATION WAZIRABAD, DELHI AND SAHIBABAD, UTTAR PRADESH, RECOVERED ON THEIR INSTANCES.

• A HYUNDAI CRETA CAR, USED FOR STEALING THE CAR OF PRESENT CASE (OWNED BY THE ACCUSED ASHFAQ @ BHURA) ALSO RECOVERED.

• TWO OF THE ACCUSED PERSONS HAVE CRIMINAL HISTORY OF INVOLVEMENTS INCLUDING DACOITY, ROBBERY, SNATCHING, THEFT, CHEATING AND ARMS ACT, REGISTERED IN DIFFERENT POLICE STATIONS IN DELHI.

• TWO CASES OF MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT REGISTERED IN POLICE STATIONS WAZIRABAD, DELHI AND SHAHIBABAD, UTTAR PRADESH WORKED OUT WITH THEIR ARREST.

• THEY USED TO STEAL THE CARS AND PARK THE SAME IN ISOLATE PARKING AREAS BY ADHERING FAKE REGISTRATION NUMBER PLATES AND LATER ON THEY SELL THE SAME TO OTHER SCRAP DEALERS IN ORDER TO MAKE QUICK MONEY AND LIVING LAVISH LIFESTYLE.

INCIDENT:
On 16.01.2025, Mohd. Salman, r/o Sangam Vihar, Wazirabad, Delhi got registered an online E-FIR No. 001603/25, regarding theft of his Hyundai Creta Car, which was received in PS Wazirabad and the investigation of this case has been taken up accordingly.

TEAM, INVESTIGATION & OPERATION:
Immediately, a dedicated police team led by SI Abhishek Singh, comprising HC Mahinuddin, Ct Abhishek and Ct Piyush was formed to work on the case and nab the culprits along-with the recovery of stolen car, under the close supervision of Inspr. Manoj Verma, SHO/PS Wazirabad and guidance of Shri Nirav Patel, ACP/Sub-Division, Timarpur, Delhi.

During investigation, the CCTV Cameras were extensively checked, coupled with incites of secret informers, a route map of the stolen Creta Car was prepared. It was noticed that the persons, who had stolen the Creta Car in the present case were using another Creta Car for the commission of the theft. Further, a route was prepared up to Shastri Park and then the local informers were activated in the route area. On 22.01.2025, an information was received from the secret informer that one person named Javed was involved in the theft of the Creta Car with registration No. DL7CQ440-VIII from the area of PS Wazirabad and he had parked the same car in a Parking at 5th Pusta, Usmanpur, Delhi. Subsequently, the Creta Car was zeroed at the same Parking with a fake registration number plate. Further, a strategic trap was laid by the dedicated team at the parking and when during morning hours, the accused reached there and got in the car, he was apprehended and identified as Aman Javed, age 27 years.

INTERROGATION:
During the course of interrogation, the accused person Aman Javed, age 27 years confessed his role & involvement in the present matter with the association of his other two associates. He disclosed that on the intervening night of 15/16.01.2025, they trio reached at Sangam Vihar, Wazirabad by using a white coloured Creta Car of co-accused Ashfaq and they committed the present offence of theft of Creta car.

Consequently, at his instance other co-accused person identified as Anil Chauhan, age 32 years was also arrested from Sangam Vihar and one stolen Car, make Maruti Suzuki Brezza white coloured with fake registration number plate was recovered on his instance from a parking in Sangam Vihar, Wazirabad. On checking the details of this Brezza Car, it was found to be stolen in case FIR No. 35/25 u/s 305(B) BNS, PS Shahibabad, Uttar Pradesh.

Subsequently, raid was also conducted and the 3rd co-accused identified as Ashfaq @ Bhura, age 32 years was also arrested on the same day from 2nd Pusta, Usmanpur along-with his Creta Car, which was used in present case of theft of car.

On sustained interrogation, it further revealed that all the accused persons have criminal history. The accused person Ashfaq @ Bhura was found involved in 05 criminal cases of Robbery, Theft, Motor Vehicle Theft and Arms Act, registered in Police Stations Seelampur and Crime Branch, Delhi and the accused Anil Chauhan has history of involvements in 09 criminal cases of Dacoity, Robbery, Snatching, Theft, Cheating and Arms Act, registered in different police stations in Delhi, whereas, the accused Aman Javed is a budding criminal, who was also found involved in a case of Theft, registered at PS Dayalpur, Delhi.
