"வெற்றித் தமிழா" என்ற நிகழ்ச்சி மூலம் போட்டித்தேர்வு பற்றிய விழிப்புணர்வு முகாம் மதுரையில் உள்ள டோக் பெருமாட்டி கல்லூரியில் நடந்தது. இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் மூத்த குடிமைப்பணியாளர்களான திரு R. செல்வம், IAS, மற்றும் திரு V. பழனிச்சாமி IIS ஆகியோர் கலந்து கொண்டனர். GST கூடுதல் ஆணையர் திரு V . S . வெங்கடேஸ்வரன் , IRS மற்றும் காவல் துறை உதவி ஆணையர் திருமதி பி .காமாட்சி ஆகியோர் மாணவர்களுக்கு ஊக்க உரை நிகழ்த்தினர். கல்லூரி வேலை வாய்ப்பு மைய ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் முனைவர் S .சங்கரநாச்சியார் , கருத்தாளர் S .ஆல்பர்ட் பெர்னாண்டோ மற்றும் போட்டி தேர்வு பயிற்சி வல்லுநர்கள் முனைவர் R .மனோகரன் , திரு T .தியாகராஜன் மற்றும் முனைவர் பெத்த வண்ண அரசு ஆகியோரும் பங்கு பெற்று மாணவர்களுக்கு ஊக்க உரையும் வழிகாட்டுதலும் செய்தனர்.

நிகழ்ச்சியில் பேசிய காவல் துறை உதவி ஆணையர் திருமதி பி .காமாட்சி, தனது அனுபவத்தை மாணவர்களிடம் பகிர்ந்து கொண்டார் . தனது 10ம் வகுப்பு முடிந்தவுடன் திருமணம் செய்து கொண்ட இவர் , விடா முயற்சியால் 12ம் வகுப்பு , பட்டப்படிப்பு எல்லாம் தொலை தூரக்கல்வியாக பயின்று TNPSC 4ம் நிலை தேர்வில் முதலில் தேர்வாகி , தொடர் முயற்சியால் இன்று TNPSC Group 1 தேர்வில் வெற்றிகொண்டு DSP ஆகி இன்று மதுரையில் காவல் துறையில் துணை ஆணையராக பணியாற்றுகிறார் . மாணவ மாணவிகள் சமூக வலைத்தளங்களில் செலவிடும் நேரத்தை குறைத்து பயனுள்ள வழியில் வாழ்வில் முன்னேற முயற்சிக்க வேண்டும் என்று கேட்டுக்கொண்டார்

"Vetri Thamizha" the second awareness programme on "Competitive Exams" was conducted at Lady Doak College in Madurai. In this programme, senior civil servants Mr R. Selvam, IAS Mr. V. Palanichamy, IIS, V.S.Venkateswaran, IRS were also present. Assistant Commissioner of Police, Madurai City, Temple Range Smt.B.Kamatchi also attended the programme and motivated the students.

Other dignitaries who attended the above programme were college Placement Coordinator Dr S.Sankara Natchiyar, Convener S. Albert Fernando and Competitive Examination Training Specialists T. Thiagarajan and Dr Petha Vanna Arasu, Maths teacher Mrs V. Chitra Devi also participated and gave motivational speeches and guidance to the students.

Addressing the students, Smt.B.Kamatchi, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Temple Range, Madurai City, shared her own story of success. She got married after completing her 10th standard and completed his 12th standard and graduated through distance learning. First got selected in TNPSC 4th level exam and with persistent efforts, today passed TNPSC Group 1 exam and became DSP and currently working as Assistant Commissioner of Police in Madurai. She asked the students to reduce the time they spend on social media and try to progress in life in a useful way.
