Catfish stole Pa’s fishing pole! Fishing Lake Dabney! Lake Houston Wilderness Park! Rogue Adventures

Rogue Adventures Family spent a rainy weekend lakeside RV camping with friends at Lake Houston Wilderness Park in New Caney, TX. This 5,000 acre park is a short drive for us and we have visited the park several times to enjoy the day use of the nature center and explore the trails and water along Peach Creek that runs through the middle of the park to beat the summer heat.

We recently discovered the park also has limited RV camping so we planned a trip with another camping family. We didn't let the rain stop us from having fun. Our weekend adventure was packed with bike riding (learning to ride for some of our friends!), fishing, exploring the trails and park and spending great quality time with friends and family!
