As they grow, children begin to master different physical, cognitive, language and personal-social skills critical to their development. While each child is unique and grows at a different pace, here's what most children are able to do by the time they are 28 months old. In case your child does not exhibit many of the skills relevant to their age, you may want to consult a specialist.

Month 28 Development Milestones :-

-Is able to walk down stairs alone, by alternating feet and holding on to hand railing
-Is able to make vertical strokes while drawing or painting
-Is able to unzip a large zipper
-Is able to describe characteristics of objects, animals or people, for example, "red ball"
-Is able to answer simple "who", "what" and "where" questions
-Is able to identify 2-4 pictures when 5 black and white cards are shown
-Is able to include other people, toys or pets while playing make-believe (pretend game)
-Is able to understand the function of one or more body parts
-Is able to understand the concept of counting
-Is able to sort objects by colours
