Ignorance is Bliss is a song performed by the band, Jellyfish.
It was featured on the compilation album "White Knuckle Scorin'" that Nintendo released in 1991.

The song was later used in an animated music video that was uploaded to Newgrounds, in the 2000's.
This made both the song, and the video become very popular.

On March 7th of 2020, an artist uploaded a drawing to Twitter, referencing the classic music video.
And then, the lyric chains in the comments began, the next day...

This video is a compilation of every single Twitter comment in the lyric chain, that plays alongside an up-scaled version of the animated music video. I would like to thank everybody that participated in this Twitter lyric chain, it was a ton of fun for all of us to relive our nostalgia together.
