the redbox stock has been the topic of many conversations lately, and in today's video we're going to look at its price actions, the recent developments, the technicals and my opinion on if you should be buying the stock.

as the market is very volatile at the moment, we should be mindful of which positions to pick, as well as their individual timing and exposure.

redbox has seen a full week of red so far, and the stock price also decreased by at least 30% from the peak. this kind of retracement has surpassed my initial projections, and i believe that although it's not necessarily caused by short sell pressure, it is at least caused by the decreased interest from retail traders to keep buying the stock in order to keep it high. keep in mind that the title requires massive injection of new demand in order to lift up the stock price, and without that new demand the downward spiral will simply turn into a self-fulfilling prophecy, because the fundamentals for the company has never been the reason why people may buy it, and the major spikes that we saw the weeks before may tempt some traders to liquidate their positions in order to realize some gains, or to get back some of their losses. let's keep in mind that the top of the stock over the past 12 months has gone above 20 dollars, before almost touching the penny stock level.
