Previously we introduced the fact that the Bible is:

1. Inspired of God
2. The basis for true religion and morality
3. Understandable and Implementable
4. Proper understanding requires study

In Part 2 we begin discussing how decisions are made. In order to understand something properly it is helpful to study how understanding and decision making works. People who refuse to think about how to think are liable to be controlled by those who do! Our effort is to take responsibility and control of our destiny by making sure we are mentally sharp. (Pb. 1:1-7; 27:17). In this video we discuss:

1. Cognitive dissonance (2 Thess. 2:11)
2. Three parts of decision making/problem solving
3. Inputs--Scale, Ramifications/details, Magnitude/Scope
4. Processing/Reasoning--Mind, Will, Emotions
5. Judgment/Decision--Motivations, Uniqueness, External Factors, Goals and/or Status, Disposition/Personality, Will/Desired Outcome

In Part 3 we will continue learning about decision making by comparing different methods of problem solving and also examine our 5 internal senses.
