Retail gold investors have been staying on the sidelines, favoring equities markets still, while they set aside the possibility of a recession, said Sylvia Carrasco, CEO and founder of Goldex Technologies.

“If you look at the recent retail investment sentiment, since March, it has gone up. Why, because stocks are now going up, and this idea of a recession is not happening anymore, this blip we had since December until March is not happening, so retail people forget quite quickly that there might be a storm coming,” Carrasco told Kitco News.
