today the road will be getting its first of 2 layers of blacktop. today at the #smithroadconstruction project. "Granite construction" as well as some other hauling companies are hauling in fresh asphalt in dump trucks.

the first few clips of paving are where they are paving the sections they ripped out (where there were big stress cracks) and then the rest of the road. in total, they paved about half a mile of the road...up and down.
